The Vice President of FP&A Solutions will be responsible for overseeing and driving the success of FP&A product implementations, such as Planful and Vena for our external clients.
This role involves business development, client relationship management, solution implementation, and delivery of high-quality financial planning and analysis services.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in FP&A and Close Management, such as Planful, Vena, Trintech and other similar products, strong leadership and team management experience, and client-facing skills and to support the growth and success of both our clients and our organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality FP&A services to clients, leveraging Planful and Vena to optimize financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Lead the business development efforts to identify and secure new client engagements focused on Planful and Vena solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions that drive their financial success.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and execute financial strategies that align with their business goals and objectives.
- Continuously improve FP&A processes for clients, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage the implementation of Planful and Vena solutions for external clients, ensuring seamless integration and successful deployment.
- Lead and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective client service and professional development.
- Analyze client financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for clients, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as ad-hoc financial analyses.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to clients, executive leadership, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support client strategic planning, capital allocation, and business case analysis.
- Collaborate with the IT department and clients to ensure seamless integration and functionality of Planful and Vena solutions.
- Monitor and manage key financial metrics and KPIs for clients, providing regular updates and recommendations.
- Represent the firm at conferences, and deliver online and in-person seminars and speaking engagements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis and Close Management
- Extensive expertise in Planful and / or Vena solutions, including implementation and optimization.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing FP&A processes for external clients.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and business operations with the ability to manage your own P&L.
- Demonstrated track record of business development and securing client engagements.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent professional level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and across all organizational levels.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical standards and practices.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.
