Regional Key Account Manager- North America

Working with Director of OES Passenger Car Sales for North America, the Senior Powertrain Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales, profit, and growth performance targets including overall customer satisfaction for North American Passenger Car OES customers.
This person will have 2-3 experienced direct reports, including an Account Representative and 2 Key Account Managers.
What you can look forward to as the Senior Powertrain Sales Manager :
- Ensuring revenue, volume, profitability, and qualitative targets are achieved and exceeded
- Support strategic development of North American key accounts
- Acquisition of new customers and conducting / supporting sales negotiations
- Sales planning on the basis of sales forecasts as well as monitoring the development of turnover and sales and deriving corrective measures
- Supporting our annual budget and planning phases
- Development and application of pricing strategies in conjunction with CEX teams
- Secondary escalation point to the customer for the solution of technical, commercial, and logistical problems
- Champion the voice of the customer within the business. Define and implement projects intended to improve customer relationships, customer value and grow the business.
- Support in the development / identification of customer-specific solutions
- Manage a team of 2-3 direct-report team members (Account Managers), align team’s roles & responsibilities to the sales plan
- Develop, mentor and coach team members to strengthen and build the team to support and continue drive future growth
- Interface directly with multiple management and working level customer contacts, in order to build customer relationships and drive growth opportunities.
- Align and execute account strategies in-line with Global Account strategy
Your profile as the Senior Powertrain Sales Manager :
- Bachelor's Degree required
- A minimum of 5 years' OES sales and leadership experience
- Extensive OES Market knowledge
- Experience working in a global matrix organization
- Microsoft Office, SAP, and superior presentation and communication skills a must
- Ability to succeed in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to travel on average 25%
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
