Job Summary : As a Machine Operator specializing in extrusion, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of extrusion machinery.

Your role will involve ensuring the efficient production of high-quality extruded products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Machine Setup and Operation : Set up and operate extrusion machines according to production specifications and guidelines.

Adjust machine settings to achieve desired product dimensions and quality.

Quality Control : Monitor the extrusion process to ensure product quality and consistency. Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify that products meet required specifications and standards.

Material Handling : Load and unload raw materials and finished products. Ensure that materials are properly handled and stored to prevent contamination and damage.

Documentation : Maintain accurate records of production runs, including quantities, machine settings, and any issues encountered.

Complete required documentation for quality control and safety compliance.

Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor and participate in safety training as required.

Team Collaboration : Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to address any production or equipment issues.

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience operating extrusion machinery in a manufacturing environment. Proven track record of successful machine operation and maintenance.

Technical Skills : Strong understanding of extrusion processes and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and production specifications.

Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve machine issues promptly.

Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in monitoring and adjusting machine settings and quality control.

Mathematical Skills : Strong math skills required. Proficiency in using a tape measure accurately to ensure correct product dimensions.

Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and move heavy materials. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.

Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or training in machine operation or extrusion processes is a plus.
