About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Step Down Job Specialty : RN Step Down Job Duration : 12 weeks Shift : 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years in PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care License : RN License required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have : - Ability to float onsite within skill set - Ability to float to other sites within a 40-mile radius if needed Job Description : Provide high-quality patient care in a step-down unit.
- Work every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH).- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient progress.- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support.
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address patient care issues.
