About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery

Experience : Minimum 1.5 years in Labor & Delivery in a hospital setting

License : Current state nursing license

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP

Must-Have :

Must have completed one travel contract in the previous 12 months

Must be able to float across all campuses

No first-time travelers

Description :

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

You will care for high-risk obstetric patients, including antepartum patients, as well as those undergoing c-sections and vaginal deliveries.

You will manage drips such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin.

Scrubs will be provided by the facility.

You will participate in a holiday rotation and may be required to work during peak periods.

You will work with patient ratios of 1 : 1 to 1 : 2.

You are expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills and provide compassionate care to all patients.
