- Conducting, performing, and analyzing diagnostic and function tests to assess lung capacity and capability.
- Manage patients with complicated oxygenation and ventilation disorders.
- The Registered Respiratory Therapist will partner as part of a collective team in a thriving culture of learning and advancement, leveraging various scientific values, therapies, and techniques to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Essential Functions Of The Role :
- Performs and directs the administration of respiratory care services (including but not limited to oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, inhaled medication, airway clearance, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and bedside spirometry), in partnership with attending physician and care team.
- Care is administered in a quality manner of excellence that is in accordance with established procedures.
- Administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations.
- Adheres to established policies including but not limited to infection control and isolation policies, HIPAA, time and attendance, and social media.
- Performs willingly and professionally with peers and patients to maintain the very best work environment and outcomes.
- Embraces the autonomy to grow and enhance skills such that professional and technical requirements are accomplished.
- Focuses on continuous quality improvement in all of the aspects of clinical care, identifying, executing, and sharing opportunities to improve patient care.

Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
Experience :
Less than 1 Year of Experience
Certification / License / Registration :
- Basic Life Support (BLS) : BLS in 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) : Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
- Reg Respiratory Therapist (RRT) : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board Respiratory Care.
