About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technician Job Specialty : Operating Room (OR) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : AM, 8.00 Hours Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Not specified License : Required Certifications : Required Must-Have : Experience with Epic EMR system Job Description : - Must have open heart experience.
- On-call requirement : Every other weekend and 2-3 days per week. - Float as needed within the skill set. - Work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Holiday time off : 1 day total between November 27 - December 1 and December 23 - January 2. - Required to work every other weekend.
- Flu and COVID vaccine required, with medical or religious exceptions accepted. - Facility has 5 beds with a 1 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- Common diagnoses and treatments include orthopedic, general, urology, spine, ENT, and gynecology. - Perform special procedures in orthopedic and general robotics.
