Whether the solutions involve the extraction, dedusting, conveying, flue gas purification or plant manufacturing, Scheuch is a leading expert in a variety of industries offering its customers application-specific, high-quality solutions to their air and environmental technology issues.

We're a $100M+ organization with 25 sales employees and roughly 200 total employees across all division.

Something About the Position

The VP of Sales & Marketing will manage and lead a team consisting of Account Managers, Applications Engineers and Representatives.

The successful candidate will drive all internal and external sales activity, help create lead generation, marketing campaigns, and pricing programs.

This position will be located in Lenexa, Kansas, and report directly to the President. The VP of Sales & Marketing position comes with a comprehensive salary, commission & benefits program, and the opportunity to work with one of the most innovative and creative companies in the APC Industry.

  • The VP of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue generation, margin, EBIT and net income goals for Scheuch North America.
  • The position will require managing, mentoring and motivating both direct to end-user and remote sales teams.
  • The position will require assessing existing Rep network and determining an effective go-to-market strategy.
  • The role requires frequent travel throughout North America which is expected to be 50% of the time. Included in travel will be periodic trips to Austria.
  • The role will require attending trade shows, summits, customer visits, etc.
  • The position must work with other departments and Scheuch companies in order to best develop forecasts, proposal development, pricing / win strategies, marketing programs, fabrication and construction costs / schedules, market intelligence, competitive environment, etc.
  • This position will be part of our senior management team and be responsible for strategic planning and budgeting.
  • The successful candidate will be skilled at developing and achieving accurate order intake forecasts.
  • The role will require quota development for team members and ensure that the sales organization remains accountable.
  • This position will also be responsible for establishing a scalable sales division to accommodate our anticipated growth.
  • The position will fulfill other duties as assigned as the company continues to expand.
  • The position will be responsible for working with team members in the development of KPIs and performance reviews.

Skills You Need to Bring With You

  • A 4-year bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Sales Management is required.
  • Experience or demonstrated knowledge in the APC industry is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge in industrial project execution would be helpful.
  • Knowledge in North American metals, foundry, industrial minerals and / or agricultural markets would be advantageous.
  • Experience in working with a CRM (preferably Microsoft Dynamics) is required.
  • Ability to relocate to Lenexa, Kansas within 6 months of hire is required.
