Key Responsibilities :

• Provide Specialized Instruction : Design and customize lessons across various subjects to accommodate the diverse needs and learning styles of students, using creative approaches to enhance both academic performance and social development.
• Develop and Implement IEPs : Formulate and regularly revise Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with specific goals and strategies tailored to each students distinct learning requirements, with a particular emphasis on the Transition section.
• Support Behavioral and Emotional Growth : Apply strategies to manage behavior, create a positive learning atmosphere, and help students develop social skills and emotional resilience.
• Collaborate with the Education Team : Partner with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure a unified approach to student education, actively participating in meetings and maintaining ongoing communication.

Job Qualifications :

• Masters degree in Special Education preferred, but not required
• Active New Hampshire Special Education license and teaching certificate
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting preferred
• Experience withteaching virtually is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable computer and high-speed internet (Chromebooks and tablets are not permitted)

Pay & Benefits :

• 1099 Contract Position

• Hourly rate : $40-$55 / hr (based on district budget and candidate experience)

Interview Process :

• Initial Screening : A 10-15 minute call
• Pass Tech Screening : Pass a 15 minute tech screening to show proficiency using Zoom.
• Virtual Interview : A 15-20minute interview with the school district
• Offer : Typically made within 24-48 hours after the interview
