The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of patient’s affiliations.Here’s What You NeedAssociate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program CompletionBSN preferred1 year experience as a Registered Nurse1 year of Emergency experience strongly preferredRegistered Nurse requiredCLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalencyBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredACLS within 90 days of hire requiredCPI Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hireNIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hireENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 12 months requiredTNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course within 12 months requiredWhat You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing ProcessAssesses the patientPlans the care of the patientIntervenes as appropriateEvaluates the effectiveness of interventionsIncorporates age specific safety / infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and / or significant others need for informationMaintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
