Job Description

Construction Superintendent

Dynamic, entrepreneurial and well-established Construction Management and Real Estate Development Company is seeking a full time Project Superintendent for private sector projects ranging from $500,000 to $20,000,000. The Company’s diverse projects include complex urban multi-family, mixed-use ground up mid-rise, gut rehab, retail, tenant improvement, institutional and industrial projects. The Company’s culture is collaborative, hard-working, and family focused.

Responsibilities :

  • Direct field operations.
  • Prepare, maintain and drive project schedules.
  • Ensure quality control of all trades.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between trades.
  • Monitor production on site to ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Communicate with owners and design teams in connection with field issues. Investigate and resolve such issues.
  • Conduct weekly jobsite coordination and safety meetings with all subcontractors onsite.
  • Maintain daily logs.
  • Enforce, monitor and champion Safety protocols.
  • Supervise Field Engineers Carpenters and Laborers as assigned.

Minimum Requirements :

  • 5 years of industry experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • OSHA certification
  • MA Construction Supervisor License
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project, PlanGrid, ProCore or similar software
  • Ability to accurately read plans and communicate construction information
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • 4-year college degree a plus
