About The Position
Job Title : Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Specialty : Speech Pathology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days, 10-hour shifts, Every Other Weekend Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years in an acute care facility License : Active California license Certifications : BLS, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have : - Experience with Cerner charting system - Orientation of 12 hours Job Description : - Provide high-quality speech and language pathology services in an acute care setting.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' specific requirements.- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using Cerner.
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications and health regulations.- Offer support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment goals.
- Adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with shifts including weekends as needed. - Guarantee professional and courteous care to all patients.
- Participate in ongoing training and development sessions.
