Overview

Design and develop products, components, or assemblies, applying engineering knowledge to meet customer specifications and cost-efficiency requirements. Plan and execute the design, testing, and modification of prototypes, contributing to the development of manufacturing processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform product design and analysis, considering cost, manufacturability, and performance requirements.
• Develop and implement engineering solutions for new products, enhancements, and existing product lines.
• Conduct product tests, analyze results, and prepare reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, suppliers) to ensure seamless product development and launch.
• Prepare engineering documentation, including Engineering Change Orders, Requests for Expenditures, and test reports, to support project implementation.
• Troubleshoot product issues during design, development, and production, implementing corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in product design, materials, manufacturing processes, and regulations.
• Elevate safety and quality awareness and be able to perform all essential job functions with / without accommodation.
• Utilize office automation and tools used in the Haworth office environment.
• Perform other duties within scope as assigned.
