Position Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Microsoft technologies, including ASP.NET and SQL Server.
This role involves both front-end and back-end development, implementing responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks, while ensuring application performance and security.
The developer collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, utilizes Visual Studio for coding and debugging, and adheres to best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Continuous improvement and staying current with emerging technologies are key aspects of this position. Occasionally work will need to be completed outside regular business hours.
Essential Functions
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET and related frameworks.
- Create and manage databases using SQL Server, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Maintain existing PHP and MySQL based Intranet and migrate functionality to ASP .NET and SQL Server.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues effectively.
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
- Utilize Visual Studio for application development, debugging, and testing.
- Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code to enhance application performance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in software development.

Experience and Education
- 3+ years in a similar role; (experience in a manufacturing environment preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent on the job experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer using Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, SQL Server).
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Basic Knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker) is a bonus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously with needed support from CIO.

Compensation
$95000 $135000 / year
