Job Details
- FLOAT POOL M / S TELE RN (MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO 8 DIFFERENT UNITS) nEves & EOW - 40hrs.
- RESPONSIBLE FOR CARDIAC MONITORING, CARDIAC DRIPS & READING TELE STRIPS 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- Unit Name : Float Pool RN (must be willing to Float between 8 different units).
- Brief Unit Description : Float throughout the hospital to all Med / Surg Tele areas ( areas listed).
- Experience Required : Two years of acute care hospital experience.
- Skill Sets Required : Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours. TR Band experience.
Must be able to perform Cardiac Drips and Reading Tele Strips.
- Clinician to Patient Ratio : Days & Eves up to 5 : 1. Nights up to 6 : 1.
- Patient Population : Care for ED border patients; medication nurse in the acute mental health unit, and care for non-vented patients who are transfer ready in the ICU.
- Bed Count : 371.
- Census : Units range from 8 to 41 beds.
- EMR (Charting System) : EPIC, Omnicell, Kronos.

Additional Details
- AHA, Red Cross, CHSF or Military. Brigham & Women's Faulkner, Cooley Dickinson, Nantucket Cottage hospitals prefer AHA, will accept Red Cross
- Will accept from any testing site.
- A completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series that is approved by the FDA or the World Health Organization (WHO) OR an up-to-date COVID vaccine if a primary series was never received or completed is required.
No exemptions or waivers (religious / medical) will be considered.
