Grandma's Kitchen is seeking experienced and talented crew members and shift leaders to join our family. In this role, you will contribute to the ongoing success of our restaurant.
Our ideal candidates have exceptional culinary knowledge and a passion for creating extraordinary dining experiences.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook food to order on various stations (fry, bake, sauté).
- Ensure all dishes meet our high standards of presentation and taste.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Model our culture of fairness, ethical behavior, and top-notch service.
- Lead and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Follow and create bulk recipes for production and service.
- Handle criticism and feedback professionally.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of two years' experience as a line cook.
- Experience with Southern / Soul Food and Caribbean cuisine is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to train others.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Basic computer knowledge, including Word and Excel.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a drug test.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to carry 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Great sanitation, time management, and organizational skills.
