The E.W. Scripps Company and Scripps News is seeking a temporary Senior Producer, responsible for managing all pre-production and daily production of assigned show(s).
WHAT YOU'LL DO : Pre-Production :
Pre-Production :
Oversee all scheduling of segments with producers.
Manage show boards.
Work with Co-Exec Producer to stack and plan daily shows.
Communicate creative and timing needs to producers.
Oversee the scheduling of all shoots, editing and airing of pieces.
Support the Co-Exec Producer in oversight of all studio / stand-up elements as they relate to each segment.
Oversee and produce elements of sweeps programming and weekend episodes.
Work with other Senior Producers to manage content flow and build each weekend show.
Day-of-show responsibilities :
Pitch and produce top of the show elements for daily broadcast;-managing the in-studio aspects of the show as it relates to talent stand-ups and segments.
Oversee all morning voice-over and talent needs.
Fact-checking and oversight of final product before the feed.
Work with the other Senior Producers to manage content flow.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED :
Bachelor degree preferred
8+ years experience with entertainment show
