Supply Management Leader

We are hiring a Supply Management Leader in Grand Rapids, Michigan to manage our commodity strategies!

What You Will Be Doing :

• The Supply Management Leader oversees commodities and is responsible for developing and managing commodity strategies, supporting supplier development, reducing cost, and leading key category initiatives.
• Managing supplier relationships.
• Negotiating and executing vendor contracts.
• Implementing supply chain strategies.
• Driving cost out of the supply chain.
• Negotiating contractual terms including payment, rebates, discounts, etc.
• Supplier bidding and selection.
• Developing a vendor base that creates and sustains a competitive advantage and strategically supports manufacturing.

You will be part of a collaborative team working with marketing, quality, engineering, and procurement leadership. This position reports to the Supply Management Manager.
