Data Engineer - AWS REMOTE

Overview Exciting opportunities await as a Data Engineer on a Product Team responsible for delivering Property & Casualty (P&C) data to downstream consumers.

The Data Engineer will work in a collaborative environment and interact with other P&C development teams in Bloomington and Dallas.

The team utilizes a variety of technologies and tools, including AI and agile principles to deliver, manage and track the backlog of work.

This important work includes provisioning financially significant P&C data to our Financial Business partners through Financial Modernization effort.

The product team provides both production support and development for additional states and business enhancements. This is a hiring effort seeking 2 Data Engineers;

Responsibilities Participates in solution design, taking into consideration risks, mitigations, performance, user experience, testability and reduce technical debt Utilizes Data Engineering knowledge necessary to support design, development, testing and execution of technology solutions Provides input into overall testing strategy and plan;

Familiarity with data formats such as Parquet and JSON, as well as RESTful API integration, is essential. Demonstrated experience within distributed computing systems to design, develop and test scalable applications capable of handling high-volume datasets, ensuring optimal performance and reliability Proficiency managing and processing datasets that include a mix of structured (e.

g., relational databases) and unstructured data (e.g., text, images), ensuring proper data preparation for analysis. Expertise performing comprehensive extract, transform, and load (ETL) operations to integrate data from diverse sources, including databases, APIs, and flat files, while maintaining data integrity and quality.
