Our client, a rapidly growing and unique insurance organization and one of the fastest-growing insurance brokers in the U.
S., is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team.
As the Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for efficiently managing a high-volume book of insurance business, specifically focusing on handling middle-market generalist accounts.
Responsibilities
- Building positive relationships with clients to foster loyalty and advocacy.
- Providing excellent service and ensuring all client needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Handling renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policy inquiries efficiently.
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the insurance markets, underwriting guidelines, submission procedures, and company products.
- Reviewing all applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborating with the department manager to coordinate expiration lists and gather renewal business information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Property & Casualty License required
- 3+ years’ experience working with commercial lines accounts
- Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Applied / Epic or similar agency management software experience, preferred.
The position is based out of Sioux Falls, SD. For the right candidate, a hybrid schedule could also be considered. In this role, there is a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package.
