We are thrilled to offer an opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Avondale, Arizona.
This role provides the chance to enhance students' communication skills through dedicated speech and language therapy services, supporting their educational and personal development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet specific communication challenges.
- Deliver direct therapy services in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to support and monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
- Contribute to IEP meetings with professional recommendations and insights based on evaluations.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active Arizona State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Arizona Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (or eligibility for certification).
- Preferred experience in a school environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
