Thursday : 7 : 45am-5pm

Your Role as an EFDA
As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, you'll play a critical role in delivering best-in-class care. You'll work closely with doctors to provide clinical support, educate patients, and perform expanded duties that elevate the patient experienceall while maintaining compliance with state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside support for doctors, including charting, placing fillings, setting up and cleaning operatories, and patient education.
- Perform expanded functions such as placing amalgam or composite fillings, adapting temporary crowns, removing sutures, and applying topical fluoride (state-permitted procedures only).
- Maintain accurate patient health history and treatment plan documentation in dental software.
- Assist in clinical procedures, ensuring a seamless and efficient patient care process.
- Stay up-to-date on state regulations and compliance to deliver safe and effective care.
