We are on the lookout for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients.
The Registered Nurse assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
The Registered nurse is responsible for :
- Actively engage in the health care team, offering both direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
- Assess the physical and psychological conditions of patients continuously throughout their care journey.
- Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of SPBH.
- Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values.
- Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, actively contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.
Your Experience Matters What we're looking for :
Education & Licensure : Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Currently licensed to practice by the Illinois State Board of Nursing.
- Experience : A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
- Additional Skill Requirements : Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior including restraint and seclusion policies, within 90 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.

Compensation :
This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range is $35.00- $45.00 / hourly + GENEROUS SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS. We're eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level.
