Technical Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative

Manufacturing company in Southwest Charlotte is looking for a Technical Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative. Temp to perm opportuity;

regular business hours; 45K - 50K salary plus bonus

Responsibilities :

• Read and understand technical drawings / technical specs / and manual pages
• Prepare quotes and sales orders
• Input order information for processing
• Go out to warehouse floor if necessary for update on inventory
• Develop accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; finding ways to add value to customer relationship
• Maintain communication with customer by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
• Fill orders by transferring orders to fulfillment; communicating expected delivery date; explaining stock-outs.

Requirements :

• Experience with quotes, sales orders, order entry, (invoicing a plus) in an ERP system
• Excellent customer service skills (phone and email)
• Experience working in ERP systems
• Experience working with / reading technical drawings; understanding of Bill of Material
