Join us as a Flight Test Data Processing Engineer enabling the Lockheed Martin F-35 aircraft to continue and expand its air dominance.

Your contributions will support daily Flight Test Data Center operations by preparing and post-processing flight test data products, interacting directly with the customer, and acting as system administration and IT system build expert.

Some shift work and domestic travel up to 30 days may be required.

Must be a US Citizen and no dual citizenship will be considered. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of related, professional experience.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline

At least five years of related, professional experience

Desired Skills :

ABET-accredited bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science or engineering

Security+ certification

Data processing expertise in finding anomalies, troubleshooting missing data, and resolving network system issues.

System administration abilities to include server administration, Active Directory management, user account setup, database support, Linux and Solaris, backups, security audit compliance, VMWare, etc.

Aerospace background

Software programming and scripting experience

Hardware design and experience in communication protocols such as Ethernet, Fibre Channel, MIL-STD-1553, IEEE-1394, etc.

Familiarity with USAF and Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) structure and operating processes with a customer support focus

Ability to receive and maintain program special access

Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level : Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 9x80 every other Friday off
