This Surgical Services unit functions within Bloomington Hospital, where we have 14 operating rooms and 2 open heart room.

Our Surgical Services team members perform a variety of services, including cardiovascular, gynecological, orthopedic, laparoscopic, and DaVinci procedures.

Shift Requirements (OR) : Various shift and statuses available. There is minimal on-call, however, team members must be able to respond to on-call notice and be at the Bloomington facility within 30-minutes.

Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.* Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.

• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.* Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit / department specialty according to patient care policies.
