Silver Star Brands Oshkosh, WI 1st Shift 6 am - 2 : 30 pm

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Facilitate team meetings concentrating on continuous improvement, quality and safety.
- Facilitate the development of team goals and improvement benchmarks.
- Conduct daily departmental safety audits and promote the constant visibility of safety concerns inside and outside of the functional department.
- Establish specific actions for team members to meet functional goals and assure accountability of team members to all standards of conduct.
- Recommend developmental goals and facilitate the growth and development of team members.
- Monitor and evaluate Team Member performance against personal development goals and team expectations.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and developmental assistance to all team members on a weekly basis.
- Promote an environment of open and effective communication at the individual and team levels.
- Cultivate a strong respect for diversity among team members and assure an environment free of any form of harassing or discriminatory behavior.
- Schedule work within functional departmental parameters.
- Coordinate training of team members.
- Administer company and department policies using appropriate corrective action up to and including termination of employment.
- Maintain constant awareness of the workflow dynamics within the functional department and potential impact to the Fulfillment process as a whole.
- Use data-based decision making to maximize the efficiency of departmental operations and continuous improvement efforts.
- Interview candidates and make hiring decisions

- Competency in coaching, development, and performance assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate the development of a successful team.
- A Basic understanding of Mathematics and Statistical principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Formal training in Supervisory Skills required. Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
- A basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel and a willingness to become proficient in these applications.
- Ability to successfully contribute in a team-oriented environment
