About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Emergency Room (ER) Job Duration : 12 Months Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48 Hour Guaranteed Experience : Minimum of 2 years;
first-time applicants are accepted License : GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submission Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Must-Have : At least two supervisory references are highly preferred Job Description : Provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
- Work in a Level 3 trauma setting currently in process of certification, primary stroke, CHF, STEMI, and chest pain center.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1 : 4 in a facility with 59 rooms and an average of 250 visits per day.- Utilize Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems for efficient and effective patient care.
- Wear navy blue scrubs as the designated uniform.- Fulfill weekend assignments every other weekend.- Be flexible with floating to various units as needed.
- Work on holidays according to the requirement schedule, with a maximum of two major holidays expected.- Comply fully with required protocols to ensure an on-time start;
non-compliance may result in a two-week push back.- Attend 13 hours of mandatory orientation at the start of the assignment.
Availability to submit core items and complete / schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract is crucial for an on-time start.
