Utilize your skills in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver top-notch nursing care within the RN scope of practice defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.

Your Responsibilities

As an Ambulatory Nurse, you will :

• Provide and facilitate competent healthcare for patients and families.
• Ensure adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice.
• Document care accurately and completely.
• Deliver health and wellness education to individuals and groups.
• Act as a preceptor, supporting the development of staff and healthcare students.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving quality of care and clinical outcomes.
• Assist in developing departmental standing orders with the Nursing Supervisor / Coordinator.
• Triage high-risk phone calls, including suicide calls and safety checks.
• Assist with social work issues, such as medication payments and appointment setups.
• Manage forms and letters for FMLA, school, or work.
• Handle refill line inquiries and assist with Rapid Assessment Clinic (RAMS).
• Process prior authorizations for psychiatric medications and administer injections.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $29 per hour - $49.88 per hour . This range reflects a good faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, qualifications, location, and shifts worked.
