Overview

The Women's Imaging Center, a Partner Practice ofTogether Women's Health, is seeking a full timeMedicalReceptionist / Front Desk clerk to join their growing team.

TheMedicalReceptionist / Front Desk clerk is a brand ambassador and is responsible for providing a warm welcome to every patient, every time.

This role must provide outstanding customer service to each patient either on the phone and / or in person. TheMedical Receptionist is also responsible for greeting patients, scheduling future appointments, and utilizing the Electronic Health Record system in a professional and efficient manner.

This position must be filled by someone open to travel to any of our 4 main locations (Denver, Westminster, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch) as needed although primary work location will be at one primary location - Denver / Cherry Creek.

Responsibilities

• Greeting every patient with a smile
• Completing and updating patients' insurance information with accuracy and efficiency
• Utilizes the Electronic Health Record system to complete the registration process
• Complete the check out process by assisting the patients with scheduling future appointments
• Taking people and charts back and instructing patients on exam prep
• Verifying insurance eligibility to ensure timely billing to a third party vendor
• Collect co-pays and deductibles as directed by the billing policies
• Answer the appointment incoming scheduling calls and schedule incoming patients from provider orders (Scheduling 20+ patients / day)
• Must have a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring each patient's encounter with our practice is professional, warm and caring and has met their needs
• Experience in a medical setting is preferred

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required
• 1+ years of previous medical office experience preferred
• Radiology receptionist experience highly desired and preferred
• Athena, MyChart, or Epic experience strongly desired / preferred
• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multitask
• Must be comfortable scheduling and checking in patients
• Must be tech savvy and comfortable working with with an EHR system in a very fast paced environment
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs or more

Pay Range : $19-22 / hr dependent on experience.
