About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 11.5-Hour Rotating (19 : 00-07 : 00, 12 Hour PM-AM or 07 : 00-19 : 00, 12 Hour AM-PM) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Not specified License : Registered Nurse (RN) license Certifications : Not specified Must-Have : Ability to work in both PICU and pediatric med / surg levels Job Description : Seeking an experienced PICU RN for an immediate start.
- Our unit comprises 18 beds : 4 PICU, 3 Step Down, and 11 pediatric med / surg.- In the absence of PICU patients, responsibilities may include caring for pediatric floor-level med / surg patients.
- May occasionally float to Intermediate Care Nursery (ICN) based on unit needs.- Care levels range from med / surg floor level, to level 2 (Q2h interventions, bi-pap) and level 3 (critical care).
- Travel nurses are welcomed and often manage a varied caseload due to census fluctuations. Please ensure that you meet all requirements before applying.
