The Project Manager oversees the project budget and schedule from start to finish. They engage from project viability assessment by the sales team through DFMA, Manufacturing, Assembly, and Close-out stages.
Collaborating closely with departments such as Sales, Estimating, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehousing & Transportation, and Site Operations, they ensure accountability and project success.
Serving as the main client contact, they manage jobsites, attend meetings, and provide regular updates to the Executive Team.
Flexibility is essential due to the company's ongoing development and scaling phase.
Responsibilities
- Represent company to our external customers throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Project budget maintenance and monthly forecasting in collaboration with internal departments.
- Project schedule creation and maintenance in collaboration with internal departments.
- Ensuring project submittals and RFI’s are being processed and tracked as required to meet the project schedule.
- Coordinating project and issue specific meetings and calls, both internal and external.
- Aid in resolving design and construction related issues throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Identify when change orders are appropriate; price and create change orders for approval by client.
- Collaboration on the development of processes and systems related to core responsibilities.
Qualifications
- 3+ year’s experience in a project manager level position.
- Unfailing focus on customer service with a proven ability to deliver quality results on-time.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management, as well as hourly staff.
- Experience reading and interpreting contract documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Scheduling fundamentals.
- Excel in the use of the MS Office platform; experience with Smartsheets is preferred.
