About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift, 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 am Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : No minimum years of experience required License : Current Registration and Licensure as an RN in good standing with the Board of Nursing Certifications : American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required- ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications preferred (new employees should acquire per guidelines) Must-Have : Graduate of an accredited RN program;
BSN preferred- Ability to communicate effectively in English- High degree of empathetic listening skills, along with tact and kindness- Ability to work effectively as a team member- Basic computer knowledge- Technical and critical thinking skills related to sound nursing judgment Job Description : Collaborate with the healthcare team using evidence-based practice to ensure safe and optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate accountability and respect for patients, families, and coworkers.- Promote continuity of care by communicating effectively with interdisciplinary team members and families as appropriate.
- Direct the work of support staff in the provision of care.- Perform general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision.
- Provide care to age-specific populations according to the setting, ensuring age-appropriate care and communication. Additional Information : Position Urgency : Rapid response crisis- Holiday coverage is required.
