Field Service Operations - Manager, Contract and Order Management
Roles and Responsibilities :
Responsible for Company s commercial and technical sales for contracts and entire service business in the region. Primary duties, role / function and responsibilities will include the following :
Personnel management, developing and leading the order management team. Growing competences of team members in relation to the growing market and tasks.
Monthly meetings with each team member (1 : 1). Backup for technical manager and general manager, if needed. Knowledge about the definition of the different agreements and which agreement is suitable for each specific customer, e.
g. Master Service Agreement, Discount Agreement, Long Term Service Agreement etc. Commercial calculation of agreements and defining technical contents.
Project negotiations with customers including terms and conditions. Customer responsibility of key customers. Part of order intake and revenue responsibility team for the entire location.
Cost Center responsibility. Financial costs controlling. Assure a robust service pipeline for up to 6 months and long term 3-5 years forecast including growth of business up to 10% per year.
Daily / weekly contact and follow up with customers during execution and internally, including expediting of both internal / external customers and sub-suppliers.
Responsible for reporting, planning and scheduling (daily / weekly) related to the Long-Term Service Agreements and contracts.
Lead and manage local sales support team with regards to order intake forecasting and sales planning. Active participation in establishing MAN-ES local business presence and supporting local General Manager.
Oversees and manage key projects and processes of order management and service agreements up to 100M USD. To provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
Order entry per the division SAP based procedures. Handling of customer inquiries externally and internally, assessment of feasibility in commercial regard which includes up to full execution of order management in the SAP (quote to invoice).
Order settlement / Quotation preparation using MAN-ES pricing policy and internal terms and conditions, detailing of bid proposal documents, editing of project list.
Quotation tracking concerning timeline, quality and costs until conclusion of contract. Coordination / clarification of commercial details with internal interfaces.
Initiation of delivery and invoice processing as well as follow up. Ensure business procedures with auditors, banks, suppliers and other services are in line with management.
File and organize documents and appropriated folders. Perform other duties as assigned. Assure to follow internal MAN rules and regulations.
Job requirements :
Employer requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or other closely related technical field of study;
plus 2 years (24 months) of experience in the offered position or other closely related technical sales positions. In the alternate, employer will accept 4 years (48 months) of experience in the offered position or other closely related technical sales positions.
Experience may be concurrent. Travel required to various unanticipated locations on short- notice. High amount of flexibility is required.
