Senior Manager, Site Performance Engineering

The Senior Manager, Site Performance Engineering will lead our efforts to enhance the performance and overall reliability of our software applications.
This role combines aspects of software engineering with IT operations and testing to oversee a team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable systems.
You will play a critical role in managing our cloud based infrastructure, leading a testing team and ensuring the highest level of system and application uptime.

- Lead the Site Performance and Testing Engineering teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and team spirit.
- Develop and implement strategies for 24 / 7 system performance, site recovery, and efficient incident response to maintain high site performance and availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Development, Operations, and Product Management) to identify and resolve scalability challenges and performance bottlenecks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, adopting best practices in DevOps, SRE, and Agile methodologies.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to support team and infrastructure needs effectively.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to system reliability, uptime, and incident management.
Job Requirements Education / Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - RequiredMaster's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Preferred5 years of experience in a high-availability tech environment - Required3 years in a leadership role managing site performance / reliability, IT operations, or development teams - Required3 years Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and software engineering practices - Required
Additional Job Requirements
- Extensive experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools (i.e. Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace or similar)
- Proven ability to develop and mentor teams, driving both technical and professional growth.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to strategize and execute under pressure, with a flexible and adaptive approach to challenges.
