Overview The Corporate Strategy Data Analyst plays a key role in First Citizens’ strategic planning process, including the development of a multi-year strategic plan that unifies planning efforts across the bank, increases alignment of strategic initiatives, and improves the focus & execution of the organization to achieve its strategic goals.
The Corporate Strategy Data Analyst will report to the Director of Strategy under the Chief Strategy Officer’s organization.
Responsibilities Draft the enterprise Strategic Plan and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) reports to management and the Board and support the Strategic Planning and QBR processes Partner with business units and functions (such as Operations, Technology, Finance, etc.
to develop strategic initiatives Work with Risk to identify and monitor the risk during the Strategic Planning process and ensure the Strategic Plan is executed in alignment with the Risk Appetite Develop and implement workplans to ensure successful execution of the strategic planning process Work with Finance to conduct financial analysis and incorporate them in the Strategic Plan Qualifications Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in a bank or strategy OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in a bank or strategy Preferred qualifications : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write in a narrative style and in a concise manner in word and powerpoint Experience working at a bank, investment bank, corporate strategy teams, or a management consulting firm Experience in strategic planning or risk management Highly driven and self-motivated to succeed in a fast paced, evolving environment Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills The position will be based in Raleigh or Charlotte, North Carolina.
