PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT/ CAREGIVER/CNA OR HHA SPANISH

Right at Home West LA based on 14th Street in Santa Monica provides non-medical home care in client's homes. SPANISH SPEAKING Caregiver with a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license is needed for 12-hour shifts for a female client

What You'll Do (Responsibilities / Duties)

Duties may include helping them dress, meal preparation, bathing, helping them walk from one area to another, medication reminders, and / or companionship (taking walks together, playing games, gardening).

You may drive clients to a doctor's appointment, do errands for them, and do some light housekeeping.

Personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to) :

• Personal hygiene (assisting in the bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
• Ambulation / Transfers
• Eating
• Dressing / Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany client on errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to) : vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom

Who YOU are :

• You have a caring heart for the elderly and want to make a difference in their lives
• You enjoy being a companion to an elderly person, help them prepare meals, take walks with them, help keep the house tidy, and give them a reason to smile every day
• You are reliable and a great communicator
• You have your Home Care Aide license, a recent TB test and are CPR certified. Click for details on how to get any of these items.

If you don't have your Home Care Aide license you must be willing to get it, this will require a background check)

We You Get By Working with Us : We offer competitive pay (Between $19-20 / hour for this specific position) and a comprehensive bonus program that you'll really love.

If you wish, can make a lot of extra income! Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours per day, wehave shifts in Inglewood, Torrance, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Malibu, etc.

All the way south to Long Beach and north to Woodland Hills / Canoga park. Right at Home offers our caregivers flexible schedules including days, overnights and weekends.
