Nashville Veterinary Specialists in Nashville, TN is looking to add Licensed Veterinary Technicians to our Emergency Team !

Compensation : $20 - $31 / hr, based on experience. Additional shift and weekend differentials offered.

Schedule : Consistent, Three 12-hour shifts per week. Shift and weekend differentials available.

Day Shifts : 6am 6pm and 8am 8pm

Swing Shift : 2pm 2am

Night Shift : 6pm 6am

About you : You are an experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care .

You understand the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value.

Requirements for the Role :

• Minimum of 3 years working as a veterinary technician, preferably in emergency medicine. LVMT, CVT, LVT, or RVT license required.
• Have an understanding of all basic veterinary knowledge, including triage, disease processes, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures, etc.
• Advanced skill set includes (preferred, not required) : central line placement, abdominocentesis, thoracocentesis, feeding tube placement, urinary catheter placement
• Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members
