Facility :

This established healthcare facility operates two surgical centers in the metropolitan area. With multiple operating rooms across two locations, the centers provide comprehensive surgical services to the community with state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative team environment using Cerner documentation systems.

Job Details :

• Coverage needed for leave of absence from January 5, 2026 to April 3, 2026
• Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM
• Work under a supervision model with MDA oversight
• Handle 7-20 surgical cases per day depending on case types
• Manage 0-10 pain management cases per day
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, supervising MDAs, RNs, scrub techs, and occasionally first assists or residents
• Provide care for pediatric to geriatric patients (excluding neonates)
• Required procedures include general surgical cases for both adult and pediatric patients
• Experience in general and IV sedation for plastic surgery, general surgery, robotic surgery, ENT, orthopedics, and podiatry
• Primary location at St. John Surgery Center (21000 E. 12 Mile, St. Clair Shores), with occasional shifts at North Macomb Surgery Center (17700 23 Mile Rd, Macomb)
• No same-day travel between locations required
• Must maintain active Michigan license with clean background
• ACLS and BLS certification through AHA required
• Pediatric case experience required
• Local providers highly preferred, though travel providers considered if within rate constraints
• Estimated credentialing timeframe : 90-120 days

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.

Estimated Hourly Rate : 200 - 250
