This role is a crucial part of the service center's daily operations. RESPONSIBILITIES A Day in the life

Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, straight truck and other freight-maneuvering equipment, perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections, and report any maintenance needs.

Efficiently load and unload freight from trailers, ensuring proper handling and securement for safe transit.

Inspect freight for damage upon arrival and departure, accurately document any discrepancies, and report issues via the appropriate channels.

Sort and organize freight according to destination, customer specifications, and service center procedures, directing it to the appropriate dock areas.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on the dock and in trailers, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.

Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other service center personnel to coordinate freight logistics and ensure smooth operations.
