Summary of Function :
Under the supervision of the Testing Services Technician II, provide outstanding professionalism, and exemplary customer service.
Assists with the administration and supervision of standardized testing, and faculty tests requiring special arrangements.
Typical Duties :
Serves Students, staff, faculty, and members of the community and ensures excellent customer service is provided. Greet candidates and verifies their identification.
Ensure a high level of accuracy in candidates signing in and signing out and administering the proper examinations and other third (3rd) party exams.
Maintain security of candidate information in accordance with FERPA guidelines.
Provide candidates with test instructions, exam times, and test materials. Ensure that candidates do not possess any materials that are in violation of testing instructions or testing center policies.
Proctor the exam room and ensure that candidates do not indulge in misconduct.
Assists with the protection of secure, highly confidential, and valuable documents by maintaining testing logs, testing files, and examinations.
Be able to answer telephones, copy, scan, clean, and complete other clerical duties as assigned.
Be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform duties in a team environment with attention to detail and effective organizational skills to adhere to policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Demonstrated proficiencies in Microsoft Office applications, email, internet browsers, and Colleague.
Supports and participates in strategic initiatives and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred :
Associate’s degree. Experience working in a testing environment, including a k-12 or higher educational institution. Ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to work successfully as self-directed and make effective decisions based on policies and procedures, during both low and high-volume work environments
Additional Eligibility Requirements :
- Must be able to be certified to administer various assessments that may require passing an examination every six months or yearly and / or signing an NDA agreement with testing companies

Position Type & Work Schedule :
- Part-time, 12 months
- Monday-Thursday 8 : 00am-6 : 00pm
- May include some Fridays, evenings, or weekends

Work Environment :
- Office environment, various campus locations (classrooms, outdoors, etc.)
- Off-site locations including but not limited to local school campuses, businesses, and public facilities
- Normal noise level
Physical Demands :
- Prolonged sitting and viewing a computer screen
- Must be able to drive
Travel :
