INDNURSES

Responsibilities :

Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers

Assesses and evaluates the needs of patients with life threatening and life limiting illnesses and their families and develops an appropriate plan of care

Identifies teaching needs and plans appropriate strategies for individuals and families

Monitors quality and appropriateness of services provided

Collaborates with patient and family, other members of the disciplinary team and other health care providers in providing patient and family care

Documents all changes in patient’s condition and updates care plans and outcomes

Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies

Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance

Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position

Qualifications :

RN with Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Certification in Hospice Palliative Care Nurse and Critical Care and Critical Care skills preferred

1+ year of supervised clinical experience as a registered nurse

Excellent communication skills

Strong Computer skills

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions / Physical Demand : Working indoors / outdoors with clinical equipment and use of phone and computer; car and valid NJ Driver’s license
