Senior Tax Associate

Remote Opportunity (Based in CA)
Monday - Friday 10am- 6pm
$42-$48 / HR DOE
About You :
- 3-5 years of experience with Tax preparation and Review
- Complex multistate industry experience is a must
- Bachelors degree in related field
- knowledge of intuit products and pro-series as a software is a plus
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Review and / or prepare complex tax returns on behalf of clients
- Compile supporting financial statements & documents
- Review returns prepared by tax associates
- Assist with federal & state tax audits
- Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies
- Perform tax research, staying up to date on changes
- Work closely with our Tax & Review team to communicate job status to all levels of the team
- Complete assigned projects within engagement timeline & budget guidelines
- Coach, mentor, and assist tax associates with research and questions as needed
- Oversee planning and scheduling of engagements and workflow supervision
- Lead and train teams of staff accountants throughout the engagement
