About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2723 To $3025 Job Title : Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 40 hours per week contract Experience : 2 years required;
first-time travelers accepted License : WA Radiology License required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS Must-Have : - Scrub and circulate skills- Experience in balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left / right heart catheterization, Rotablader, paracentesis, and hemodynamic monitoring Job Description : Daily caseload per tech ranges from 12-20- Perform diagnostic, emergent, and known intervention cardiac cases- Complete procedures such as Impella, balloon pump, CTO, athrectomy, structural heart (TAVR, Watchman) PFO, Cardiomems, EKOS, loop recorders, and occasional pacemakers- Participate in on-call duties, approximately 5-7 days per month- Open to accommodating a block schedule- Preferred experience in Watchman procedures, septal closure, pacemaker / defibrillator device placement, TAVI / TAVR procedures- Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center with 571 staffed beds over both campuses- Charting experience with EPIC is preferred- Background checks or hits must be reported prior to submission- COVID-19 vaccination required with allowances for medical or religious exemptionsPlease note, travelers are expected to float between hospital facilities within a given state, and refusal to float may result in termination of assignment or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
Communication devices required for the assignment are provided by the facility. Orientation includes 40 non-billable hours.
