This position is located in the Cooperative Programs and Policy Section, Policy, Training and Cooperative Programs, Acquisitions and Bibliographic Access Directorate, Discovery and Preservation Services.
This position serves as an Assistant Section Head in the Cooperative Training and Policy Section (CTPS), Policy, Training and Cooperative Programs Division (PTCP), Acquisitions and Bibliographic Access (ABA) Directorate, Discovery, and Preservation Services (DPS) within the Library Collections and Services Group (LCSG) at the Library of Congress (LC).
The position reports to the Head, Cooperative Training and Policy Section (CTPS) and guides the training and cooperative cataloging programs plus the formation of policy and is responsible for providing information and technical guidance to those under the assistant section head's supervision.
