Description

Major Duties :

  • Canvass, engage, and be a presence in areas with a high concentration of people with substance use disorder
  • Outreach new and current clients in promoting service goals and escorting clients when needed Communicate and build relationships with all community stakeholders
  • Researches potential referring agencies and participates in preparing marketing materials.
  • Contacts referring agencies and provides on-site presentations to staff about LESC's programs.
  • Gives feedback and offers solutions to LESC intake staff as to referral problems that arise.
  • Ensures that clients, that is, both referrals and referred individuals are satisfied by the referral process and services.
  • Represents LESC at fairs, workshops, conferences, etc.
  • Participates in the Utilization Review Team meetings.
  • Document client engagements, area reports, and special assignments
  • Drive outreach van
  • Canvass for individuals with substance use disorder throughout the 5 boroughs
  • Other duties as assigned

Salary Range :

$40,000 - $43,000 (dependent on experience)

Qualifications / Educational Requirements :

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Computer and mobile device competent
  • Lived experience required
  • Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) preferred, not required
  • Valid NYS driver's license; CDL required
