About The Position

Job Title : ER Registered Nurse

Profession : RN (Registered Nurse)

Specialty : Emergency Room

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12 Hours Nights

Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room experience

License : Required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNS or TNCC, NIHSS

Must-Have :

• ED experience required
• Moderate sedation experience
• Flexibility to rotate start times
• Familiarity with critical care drips

Description :

Provide emergency care to the community, including non-trauma cases.

Stay current with certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNS or TNCC, and NIHSS.

Experience with a diverse patient population, including neonates to geriatrics.

Manage an average of 60-80 patients per day in the emergency department.

Work in a unit with 24 beds, providing care for both emergency and behavioral health patients.

Handle responsibilities such as drawing blood and assisting with various medical procedures.

Collaborate with providers available in the emergency department, including physicians and mid-levels.

Participate in a 1 : 4-5 nurse to patient ratio that may adjust based on staffing and patient acuity.

Engage with a team that includes support staff for both technical and patient care assistance.

Maintain flexibility for scheduling, including weekend and holiday rotations.

Participate in floating to other areas such as medical-surgical or intensive care as necessary.

Wear professional scrubs in solid colors during shifts.
