About The Position
Job Title : Rehabilitation Therapist Job Specialty : Speech Therapist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday - Friday Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per week Experience : New graduates are welcome;
SNF experience preferred License : State License Required Certifications : Not specified Must-Have : - Prescreen documentation - Resume - License verification - Negative COVID-19 test, taken 72 hours prior to the start date, with results available 48 hours before the start date Job Description : - Ensure that all prescreen documentation is completed and submitted for candidate evaluation.
- Attach resume and license verification as part of the application process. - Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. - Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills.
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout therapy sessions. - Maintain compliance with all credentialing and background requirements, including : - State License Verification - Three References - County and Federal Criminal Background Checks (7 years) - Multi-State Criminal Search (7 years) - Nationwide Sex Offender Search (7 years) - HHS / OIG and GSA Search - Social Security Number Trace - Completion of 2-Step PPD or equivalent - Participation in SAM Search - Facility-conducted State Background Checks - Focus on evidence-based practices to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
