This is a full-time position at open rank for an appointment in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Department of Internal Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).
This physician would be joining a team of 9 hepatologists, 6 of who are based at OHSU and 3 at the Portland VA Healthcare System.
- The program is the one of the largest transplant centers in the Pacific Northwest.The duties of this position include : providing patient care in Hepatology / Transplant clinic and endoscopy;
- attending on the Hepatology consult service; sharing night / weekend call responsibilities with other Hepatology faculty members;
- and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows during the course of the year.The duties of this position include : Clinical up to 75%;
Education / Research / Administrative : 25%. Additional protected time for research may be negotiated for those candidates seeking a primarily research based position.
Individual must be board certified in Gastroenterology and board eligible or certified in Transplant Hepatology and be able to obtain a valid Oregon medical license.
He / she must have completed a course of advanced training in Transplant Hepatology. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.
