General Superintendent

The General Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects on-site from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Supervise daily construction operations and coordinate activities on-site

Manage subcontractors, labor, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient work flow

Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines

Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards

Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to resolve issues

Maintain accurate records of project progress, incidents, and materials usage

Lead and motivate on-site teams, promoting a safe and productive work environment

Identify and mitigate risks and delays proactively

Proven experience as a General or Lead Superintendent

Experience running healthcare and / or commercial projects

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA Safety Certification) preferred

Valid driver's license

Base salary up to $150K depending upon experience
